The project

The drone as a design tool: aerial imagery, topography and point cloud, so that decisions rest on data.

A drone can capture aerial images, topographic maps and point clouds with great precision. That makes it easier to analyse the terrain and bring geospatial data into BIM tools, all the way through to detailed 3D models.

It is also used to inspect hard-to-reach parts of the site, in less time and at lower cost. Its value lies in the efficiency and precision it brings to every stage, from planning to construction.

[02] · Analysis

From photo to data.

A single flight yields the orthophoto, the height map and the vegetation classification. From these comes the 3D model of the city block.
